Marketplace & Special Cases

1.Do you buy from Bunjang and other secondhand marketplaces?

Yes. Bunjang, Joongna, Karrot, and other Korean secondhand marketplaces are supported through Buy For Me. A few things to know:

  • No returns. Secondhand sellers don't accept returns. What you see in the listing is what you get.
  • Seller communication. We message the seller on your behalf in Korean. Response times depend on the seller.
  • Authentication. We can't verify authenticity beyond the photos shown. For high-value items (designer goods, K-pop limited editions), request additional inspection photos before we purchase.
  • Meet-up purchases. For Seoul/Incheon area meet-ups, an extra service fee may apply depending on location.

2.What happens if my item is sold out or canceled?

For Buy For Me requests, items occasionally sell out or get canceled by the seller before we can complete the purchase. When this happens:

  • We notify you immediately through email and your dashboard
  • Any amount you prepaid for the item is refunded as Store Credit (or to your original payment method on request)
  • The $2 Buy For Me handling fee for that item is waived if we never purchased it
  • We'll help you find an alternative if you want one

For limited-edition releases (K-pop album launches, photocard drops), we recommend submitting requests as early as possible and pre-funding the order so we can buy the moment stock appears.

3.Do Korean holidays affect processing?

Yes. Korean businesses, including our warehouse and most Korean stores, close during major holidays:

  • Lunar New Year (Seollal): late January or February, 3-5 days closed
  • Chuseok: September or October, 3-5 days closed
  • National holidays: scattered single-day closures throughout the year

During these periods, Buy For Me purchases and warehouse processing are delayed. We post advance notices on our homepage and dashboard before each holiday.

4.Can I ship to multiple addresses from one account?

Yes, but each shipping address must be registered with the credit card or payment method you're using for that shipment. This is a fraud-prevention requirement from our payment processors.

You can add multiple addresses to your account and choose which one to use for each shipment. This is useful for gifts, business shipments, or customers who travel between countries.

Each shipment uses one delivery address. We can't split items from a single shipment across multiple addresses.
