Returns & Issues
1.What if my item is damaged or defective?
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. We'll work with you and the seller to resolve the issue.
We photograph all items at our warehouse before shipping, so we can verify if damage occurred during international transit.
2.Can I return items?
Returns are possible within 5 days of warehouse check-in, but only if the seller accepts returns. A $5 return processing fee applies for Buy For Me returns. For Receive For Me items, you'll need to arrange the return with the store directly. We offer a $5 repack service to help.
Note: The $2 Buy For Me handling fee is non-refundable even if items are returned.
Secondhand marketplace items (Bunjang, Joongna, Karrot) are generally not returnable.
3.What currency do you charge in?
All prices are displayed and charged in USD (United States Dollars). If you're paying with a credit card in a different currency, your bank will convert the amount based on their exchange rate.
4.How do refunds work?
Refund timing and source depend on the situation:
- Item sold out or seller canceled: refunded within 1-2 business days as Store Credit, or to your original payment method on request.
- Seller-accepted return: refunded once the Korean store processes the return on their side. This usually takes 7-14 business days. The $2 Buy For Me handling fee and any return shipping cost is deducted.
- Damaged or wrong item: refunded after the seller or carrier confirms the issue, usually within 5-10 business days.
- Seller refuses return: unfortunately we can't force a Korean seller to accept a return. We'll mediate on your behalf, but if the seller refuses, no refund is possible.
Refunds to PayPal and credit cards typically appear in 3-7 business days after we process them. Refunds via Wise can take longer depending on your bank.
5.How does Store Credit work?
Store Credit is balance held in your KoreaHaul account that you can use toward any service.
- Earned through refunds, promotions, and referrals
- Expires in 5 years from the date issued
- Applied automatically at checkout (or you can choose to save it for later)
- Cannot be transferred between accounts or withdrawn as cash
